Prof. Anbuchezhiyan M

Prof. Anbuchezhiyan M is currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Physics at SRM Valliammai Engineering College, with over 30 years of academic and research experience. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) and his Master’s degree from the University of Madras. He has published 28 research articles in reputed national and international journals with high impact factors, and his work has earned an h-index of 10. Under his guidance, five research scholars have successfully completed their Ph.D. degrees at Anna University, and one research scholar is currently pursuing doctoral studies. Prof. Anbuchezhiyan M is a recognized reviewer for leading international publishers, including Elsevier and the Institute of Physics (IOP). He has presented 34 research papers at national and international conferences and has received several Best Paper Presentation Awards. He is an active member of various professional societies. He received a certificate of recognition from the International Centre for Diffraction Data (ICDD), Newtown Square, USA, for his significant contribution of diffraction patterns to the Powder Diffraction File. He also serves as an Editorial Board Member of Advanced Central Science and the International Journal of Engineering Research and Modern Education. In addition to his academic responsibilities, he has held several key administrative roles at SRMVEC, including AICTE Cell Coordinator, Library Coordinator, ISO Coordinator, Chief Superintendent, Chairman of the Board of Studies (BoS), NAAC Functional Committee Member, and IQAC Member. He has also completed AICTE-approved Career Advancement and Higher Education Learning (Level 2) courses through the SWAYAM platform.
